Piketon is not a service area for us, it is the address. The shop is at 1309 Jasper Road and everything we build gets built here.
Every part on this website comes out of one building in Pike County. The welding, the machining, the tapping, the blasting, the truck bodies, the gates and handrails. When we talk about being able to fabricate whatever a job turns out to need, this is the room where that happens.
For local commercial and industrial customers that has an obvious advantage: you can bring a part to us. A broken component on the passenger seat, a bracket that needs copying, an assembly that needs threads recovered. Handing over the actual part removes an entire round of describing it.
We are open 24 hours, which in a town this size means something practical. Equipment does not fail politely inside business hours, and the shop being awake at two in the morning is the reason plants further north bother to call us at all.
The work is commercial, industrial and fleet. Handrails, gates and fences we build for anyone, and it is worth saying that plainly because in a smaller community people ask. What we are not is a home improvement contractor.
If you are local and unsure whether a job suits this shop, the fastest thing is to send a photograph through the job form and let us tell you honestly.
It is also worth saying what being the local shop does mean. If you run trucks here and a dump bed, a trailer or a bumper needs building or fixing, bring it. That is exactly the kind of work this shop is set up for, and the size of it is not the question.
For anyone bringing work in: the shop is on Jasper Road, and calling ahead on (740) 495-7304 saves you a wasted trip if the crew is out on a site job.
There is one more thing worth saying about being the shop in town, which is what it does not mean.
If you run trucks here and a dump bed, a trailer or a piece of fleet equipment needs fixing, bring it. That is exactly the work this shop is set up for and the size of it is not the question. We do not take farm work, and we are not a home improvement contractor.
For anyone bringing work in, calling ahead on (740) 495-7304 saves a wasted trip if the crew is out on a site job.
